Matt Hause’s journey into the DJ world is a story of dedication and drive. A Wilmington native, Matt started in the industry behind the scenes, loading in and setting up equipment for some of the best DJs on the East Coast. What began as a support role quickly turned into a passion as he spent countless hours soaking in advice, practicing fundamentals, and perfecting his craft. With a relentless work ethic and natural talent, Matt went from zero to fully commanding the decks in what felt like no time at all.

Ray’s journey into music began at just 9 years old, picking up a guitar and diving headfirst into a world of sound. Growing up in the rhythm-heavy island communities of the Marshall Islands, Hawaii, and Wrightsville Beach, Ray’s connection to music was always natural—whether he was surfing the waves or vibing to beats. His passion for instruments led him to play in bands through high school, but it was the rise of electronic music in college that flipped the switch. Inspired by the growing DJ scene, Ray and his friends started throwing house parties, quickly turning their passion into regular gigs at local venues.

DJ KC’s journey behind the decks began in high school, sparked by his brother’s music collection—Daft Punk, deadmau5, Kaskade, and Tiesto. What started as curiosity turned into a full-blown passion when he discovered turntable legends like DJ Fly and Craze, inspiring him to master the art of mixing. Sixteen years later, he’s built a reputation for high-energy sets that keep crowds moving.

Martin began his DJ journey while studying at UNCW, where he earned a degree in English. He quickly made his mark in Wilmington’s nightlife, holding long-term residencies at some of the city’s busiest nightclubs. Today, Martin continues to share his passion for music as the owner of Active Entertainment, Southeastern NC’s leading private event DJ service.
