Just Martin
Martin began his DJ journey while studying at UNCW, where he earned a degree in English. He quickly made his mark in Wilmington’s nightlife, holding long-term residencies at some of the city’s busiest nightclubs. Today, Martin continues to share his passion for music as the owner of Active Entertainment, Southeastern NC’s leading private event DJ service.
As a DJ, Martin’s love for his craft is evident every time he’s in the mix. His ability to seamlessly transition through tracks, layering beats and acapella, creates an experience where genres and decades blend effortlessly- and people lose track of time as they get lost in the music.
Martin and his wife fell in love with Wilmington during their college years and now enjoy raising their daughter in the city they call home. In his spare time, Martin loves exploring new places and diving into his ever-growing vinyl collection.
